Carlos Lahoz is Director of Sales, Business Planning and Supply Chain Management at KIA Motors Europe, member of the Board of Directors reporting to KME’s Chief Operating Officer.
He has two main areas of responsibility: first is Business Intelligence and Sales Planning, leading from one side the Mid and Long Term Strategic Plan, coordinating the implementation of European Roadmaps and action plans, and on the other side from a more operational planning perspective, Carlos is responsible for the coordination, approval and monitoring of EU countries’ annual Business Plan, Forecasting processes and Business Targets distribution. His second area of focus is Supply Chain Management including Order management, Demand and Production Planning, Stock Management and Delivery Forecast. Lahoz is also KIA’s representative against EU commission (Directorate-General Climate Action) for CO2 legislation and CO2 performance topics. Additionally acts like coordination head of cross functional projects.
Before joining KME, he was head of Business Planning and SCM at Kia Motors Iberia, Director of Fleet and Remarketing of the Fiat group in Spain, and spent eight years at General Motors group in different management positions in Spain and in the regional HQs for Southern Europe. He holds a degree in Economics, an Executive MBA from IE Business School and has a Senior Management Program at Wharton Business School (UPenn). A Spanish national, Carlos also speaks fluent English, German and Italian.
