Martin is currently Supply Chain Manager CE, managing 10 Operating Companies within Heineken Central and Eastern Europe.
He joined the beer business by working for Brau Union Austria (BUA) in 1992 after completing his degree for Food and Bio-Technology (DI) at University of Natural Resources and Applied Life Sciences, Vienna Austria.
After 6 years as Head of the Environmental Department of the BUA he moved in 1998 for the first time to operational business as Head of Production in Schwechat Brewery, Austria. From 2001 until 2003 he spent 2 years in Poland as Assistant to the CTO at Brau Union Polska. In 2004 he returned to Austria where he worked as Brewery Manager at the Schwechat Brewery until 2008.
From July 2008 till October 2010 he worked as TPM Manager for Heineken CEE, guiding and coordinating the Heineken Strategic Program towards World Class Supply Chain in the Region. During this period he developed and implemented together with Solving Efeso a Change Management program to address culture and to support the Breweries in becoming High Performing Organisations.

Martin also won the award for "Outstanding Achievement in Continuous Improvement" at the 2011 European Manufacturing Strategies Summit.
