Wael Taha is the Director for Middle East North Africa (MENA) Planning and Logistics at Henkel. Upon joining Henkel in 2005, Wael handled the regional material management and logistics in the Middle East and North Africa for Laundry and Home Care where he then moved to lead the Global Supply Chain team for material management, logistics and customer capability. Wael was responsible for establishing / redesigning the Go to Market Strategies in emerging markets to fit with customer service requirements and efficient cost to serve. He has been also involved in several organisational talent development programs in supply chain as well as leadership skills, using diversity management as the key enabler for empowerment of the workforce. Wael studied Engineering at the Cairo University in Egypt . He has worked in various product supply functions in the last 20 years. Prior to joining Henkel, Wael has worked in similar FMCG companies operating in Egypt, South Africa , East Africa and Switzerland .
