Likewise, in coherence with the European transport directives and the policy of promoting railway goods transport started by the Government of Catalonia, CIMALSA includes intermodality as an axis of the new future projects.
The Catalan Land Institute (INCASÒL) is a public company belonging to the Town and Country Planning and Sustainability Department that works to promote industrial (173 sectors) and residential land (217 sectors), the construction of subsidized housing (37,310 housing units) and restoration of heritage sites (731 projects). For the past thirty-seven years, INCASÒL has participated in carrying out land and housing policies established by the Government of Catalonia. In all of these policies, INCASÒL’s main priority is to achieve balanced land development from an urban-planning, social and economic standpoint. The company’s assets and the accumulated experience of its team of professionals enable INCASÒL to participate in economic and real estate development projects carried out in Catalonia and project its work internationally.
